Rookery Bay Painting Annual Fall Show
Friends of Rookery Bay (FORB) and the United Arts Council of Collier County (UAC) are seeking submissions for their annual painting exhibit at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center in Naples, Florida. Rookery Bay is part of the National Estuarine Research Reserve located at 300 Tower Rd., Naples, FL 34113. This exhibit is open to artists residing in Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee Counties, both full-time and seasonal. All work must be original; no giclees are permitted. Collier County Government Center
This fall, Collier County will once again display a rotating exhibit of local artists’ and photographers’ work in the Board of County Commissioners chambers, third floor, Collier County Government Center, 3299 Tamiami Trail E., Naples, Florida 34112.
Those interested in being considered must submit a brief letter of interest describing their level of expertise, training and experience along with digital images of seven art pieces proposed to display. All of this should be submitted to Mike Sheffield, director of the County’s Communication and Customer Relations Division (email@example.com).
Artists must be residents of Collier County, at least on a part-time basis. The artwork must be appropriate imagery for a public space and should have a broad appeal to people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures.

ENDANGERED Art and Photography Contest 2017
You are invited to enter the annual ENDANGERED Art & Photography Contest. This global, juried, online art contest aims to focus attention on the plight of endangered and threatened species or habitats. The challenge is to interpret or reflect ENDANGERED through either a celebration of the beauty of Endangered or Threatened Species/habitats, or illustration of the threats facing endangered species/habitats
Please note – species do not have to be formally listed as endangered in order to be eligible for this contest as long as an element of threat exists.
Application fee: $35
Young Artist Fee: $5
