The Naples Players is proud to present Laugh for a Change! on Thursday, August 15th, 2019. This evening was created as a collaborative event with the United Arts Council of Collier County.
Laugh for a Change! is a fun-filled night of comedy where our Southwest Florida community can unite for a great cause: to help provide access to the arts for at-risk children in our community.
The evening will feature Stage 2 Improv, a Naples-based improvisational theatre group that will lead scenes, games and songs. Every scene is driven by suggestions from the audience; some games may even feature audience participation. All games are created on the spot, which makes each show unique!

Art of the Holocene
August 13-October 31, 2019

Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center
300 Tower Road
Naples, FL 34113

This unique exhibition explores the Holocene, the present epoch, in both artist perspective and the environment. Art of the Holocene pairs over 20 works created by four female artists who are inspired by colors found in nature, nature itself, or the essence of nature. Works in the exhibit are diverse in medium and compositions ranging from ethereal to abstract and linear while still creating a sense of wholeness. Whether the artists are actively speaking out on behalf of environmental health or allowing their work to be the change, each artist is aware in the Holocene.

Reception: August 22, 5:30-7:00 p.m.
