Parallel Harmonies: Art and Nature Exhibit

May 22-October 31, 2018
Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center
300 Tower Rd, Naples, FL 34113
Closing Reception: Friday, October 26, 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Join us for the closing reception of Parallel Harmonies: Art and Nature. This collection of work by Cesar Aguilera, Paul Arsenault, Juan Diaz, Ehren Fritz Gerhard, and Katia Miranda celebrates the relationship between the artist and the natural world that inspires him or her. This relationship has evolved over the millennia and is still a central focus of contemporary practice for many artists today. Relationships are symbiotic, one taking care of the other. In a time of global climate change, artists are using the inspiration of nature and its current health to bring light and change to human patterns of behavior. They aim to protect this relationship and care for what inspires them. Wind, color. Trees, texture. Sun, vibrancy.Wine and light bites will be served.Cesar Aguilera: Cesaraguilera.com
