2021 Natural Selections: Photography Annual
Friends of Rookery Bay (FORB) and the United Arts Council of Collier County (UAC) are seeking submissions for their 2021 annual photography exhibit. In the past, this exhibit has been held at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center in Naples, Florida. Because of the temporary closure of Rookery Bay’s Environmental Learning Center to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, this year’s exhibition is virtual.
Deadline for entries: Sunday, January 24, 11:59 p.m.
Notification of Acceptance: Tuesday, February 2, 5:00 p.m.
Virtual Opening Reception: Thursday, February 11, 5:30-7:00 p.m.

Uptown Art Fair: Call to Emerging Artists!
The State-designated local arts agency for Collier County, the United Arts Council of Collier County (UAC), is seeking emerging artists to submit to be considered for a free booth at their upcoming Uptown Art Fair that will be held in January of 2021.

Notification of Acceptance: January 5, 2021
Booth Set-Up: January 23, 5:00 a.m.
Uptown Art Fair: January 23-24, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Booth Take-Down: January 24, 5:00 p.m.

West Wing Gallery 2020 Season Openings
Monthly openings for artists to exhibit their two-dimensional work are available. If you are interested in displaying your artwork, please submit the following to Marlene Kearns, Friends of the Library:
-Contact information (full address, phone, email)
-Samples of your work — high-resolution digital images (300 dpi or greater) or high-resolution photographs which will be used for the Friends of the Library website and Facebook. Sample images may also be distributed in concert with a press release announcing the exhibit to the Naples Daily News. Please submit in an email with your bio and samples of your artwork to Marlene Kern at email@example.com
Collier County Government Center
This fall, Collier County will once again display a rotating exhibit of local artists’ and photographers’ work in the Board of County Commissioners chambers, third floor, Collier County Government Center, 3299 Tamiami Trail E., Naples, Florida 34112.
Those interested in being considered must submit a brief letter of interest describing their level of expertise, training and experience along with digital images of seven art pieces proposed to display. All of this should be submitted to Mike Sheffield, director of the County’s Communication and Customer Relations Division (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Artists must be residents of Collier County, at least on a part-time basis. The artwork must be appropriate imagery for a public space and should have a broad appeal to people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures.
