Inclusive Practices in the Arts

Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples
This professional development training is being presented by VSA Florida in partnership with WGCU Public Media and Collier County Public Schools. The workshop is designed to provide a hands-on approach to learning about adaptive and inclusive techniques for including every learner in the arts. Participants will gain knowledge of how to apply Differentiated Instruction and Universal Design for Learning to arts lessons as well as practical skills on accommodations and modifications. Resources available free from Florida PBS Learning Media will be introduced. You will leave this workshop with a sense of excitement and renewed energy, as well as practical skills on how to include students with disabilities in mainstream programs. Certificates of participation are available for attendees.
